The Lucid Fairy is a drag persona known for her high energy performances, affirmational messages, and advocacy for self expression.
I was tasked to improve her digital presence: make her brand recognizable, increase her reach, and help her grow as an emerging performing artist.
To draw audiences into her world, we used whimsical messaging from her fairy persona combined with the dark and neon aesthetic of EDM/rave culture where she originated from.
To achieve her goals, I produced a website that communicated who she is and what she does, solidifying her as "Earth's Premier Conciousness Expanding Queer Performing Artist." I also captured her performances as a cameraman and edited some videos for social media.
Communicating her mission, documenting her work, and making them accessible has been instrumental in gaining a following and new opportunities for her.
I conceptualizing the art direction of thelucidfairy.com, coded the site with HTML, CSS, and JS, and creating the visual assets.
